About Us
Where good times gather!
The Point After was founded in 1982 by Bob and Karin Roe. In 2012, they also founded the North End Zone which is managed by his grandsons Jason and Jeremy Houser. Bob worked tirelessly, creating cherished memories and building lasting connections within the community.
The Point After holds a special place in the hearts of many, welcoming patrons of all ages through its doors. It's not uncommon to see three or four generations of families gathered here, a testament to the enduring appeal of this establishment.
As the saying goes, the Point After is 'Where Good Times Gather.' Its relaxed atmosphere offers something for everyone, from delicious food to engaging activities. While reservations are not required, the restaurant can accommodate most groups, ensuring a memorable experience for all.
Since its opening on June 28th, 1991 at its current Transit Plaza location, the Point After has been a cornerstone of Siouxland, attracting visitors from all walks of life. Over the years, notable figures such as President Barack Obama and various local sports heroes have graced its tables, adding to its rich tapestry of memories. Our personal collection of sports memorabilia is one of the finest around and can be seen throughout the restaurant and bar for your enjoyment. Our satellite dishes bring you games from wherever the action is. During the NFL season we show all the NFL games at once on our 31 TV sets. Feel free to roam around and enjoy your visit.
In addition to his contributions to the restaurant, Bob Roe was deeply involved in the community, particularly in supporting the Boys Club. His dedication to charitable causes and passion for sports made him a beloved figure in Sioux City.
Although Bob may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on at Bob Roe's Point After, where customers are always treated as MVPs (Most Valuable Patrons). We invite you to join us at 2320 Transit Avenue and experience the warmth and hospitality that defines the Point After.

As the legacy of Bob Roe continues, the entire staff proudly carries forward their vision and dedication to excellence. The tradition of hospitality and quality that defines the Point After remains as vibrant as ever.
